Jon E. Thin (real name Jonathan Bremmer) is a veteran of Southern California’s underground rave movement whose roots trace back to the region’s warehouse and desert party era. Today he’s based in the Los Angeles area, where he continues to craft hypnotic, precision-built techno for late-night rooms and discerning floors.
Cutting his teeth in San Diego and L.A., Jon earned formative after-hours residencies at Insomnia (L.A.) and San Diego’s legendary Romper-Room (’95–’98)—roles that sharpened his long-form storytelling, patient builds, and tightly engineered transitions.
As a producer, Jon releases deep, driving cuts with a minimal, textural edge. His “VISIONS” EP on Techniche Recordings (May 23, 2023) cemented his aesthetic—three focused tracks engineered for momentum without excess. Follow-ups and features span outlets like Beatport and label families including Techniche and Airtaxi.
